The World After the Fall Reviews
Story:
The story is a completely new take/approach on the fantasy-tower “Awakeners” theme genre. It possesses individuality and uniqueness, and the idea and concept are completely original, and it branches off into multiple genres but still has originality in the series. The story follows a devastated world, and in the single tower where life exists, the MC has been battling the tower for years.
The story invokes the readers’ emotions, and this series can mean a whole new branch of genres. The artist and the authors are geniuses for creating a whole new world of fantasy, and the series does have many creatures who are also completely original, however, influenced by mythology.
Art:
The art is extremely well done, the shading, colors, tones, and shades are done almost perfectly. The shading uses multiple tones of gray and black, and the highlights and bends are enhanced by the unique and perfectly chosen colors. The character designs closely follow human anatomy, and there is extensive detail in every frame.
Every color uses many variants of it to support the original color, and the linework of this series is drawn to utmost perfection.
Characters:
All of the characters, particularly the MC and those close to him/villains, have their background stories greatly explored and are supported by multiple panels that also enhance the characters’ personalities. The characters’ personalities are also shown through every decision they make, and it severely compliments the series as a whole.
Overall:
This series is a definite must-read for its amazing originality; the story, branching off multiple genres, was fused into one, and with the help of the author, created a whole new fantasy world of beauty and horror. I believe this series deserves the highest praise for its amazing idea as well as the execution of it; the art was top-tier and is something you ca expect to be on the leaderboards.
